The team won the REGIONAL FIRST PLACE award of Educational category and FIRST PLACE award of Existing buildings category in ASHRAE Technology Awards! 

The awards will be recognized in two events, the first of which is at the upcoming Region III CRC August 2018 and the second will be at an ASHRAE National Capital Chapter Dinner in the Fall. Back in April 2018 we were invited for a talk about our project at the ASHRAE National Capital Chapter dinner. This link NCC ASHRAE shows the announcement that contains our talk abstract. We’d like to thank all who supported us on this innovative “Academia-FM-ME students” model created by Prof. Ohadi and which is being recognized and celebrated, adding one more achievement to our UMD and the President initiative plan.
